The Irish Dance Teachers Association of Canada – Eastern Region (IDTACe) is proud to host the 2026 Eastern Canadian Oireachtas from November 6–8, 2026, at the Sheraton Montréal Hotel in the heart of downtown Montréal.

This year's theme,  J'❤️ Montréal, celebrates the vibrant culture, rich history, and unmistakable charm of one of Canada's most iconic cities. We look forward to welcoming dancers, teachers, adjudicators, musicians, and families from across Eastern Canada and beyond for a weekend of championship competition, cultural celebration, and unforgettable experiences.

As the premier Irish dance championship in Eastern Canada, the Eastern Canadian Oireachtas serves as an official qualifier for the North American and World Irish Dancing Championships, bringing together the region's top dancers to celebrate excellence, tradition, and community.

Throughout the weekend, competitors will showcase their talent, dedication, and passion while reconnecting with friends, celebrating achievements, and creating lasting memories within the Irish dance community.
